Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
Spree ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal data when you use the Spree iOS application ("App").
By using Spree, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to operate the App:
- Account information: When you sign in with Apple, we receive an anonymized user identifier from Apple. We do not receive your name, email address, or Apple ID credentials unless you explicitly choose to share them.
- Wishlist and product data: Product URLs, titles, prices, and images you save to your wishlist. This data is stored on our servers linked to your account.
- Photos you upload: If you use the AI Virtual Try-On feature, you may upload photos of yourself. These are processed solely to generate your try-on output and are stored securely on our servers.
- Subscription status: Whether you are on a free or Pro plan. Payment details are handled entirely by Apple and are never seen by us.
- App usage data: Anonymized, aggregated data about how features are used (e.g., which screens are visited) to help us improve the App. This data cannot be linked back to individual users.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and maintain the App and its features
- Sync your wishlist and collections across your devices
- Process AI virtual try-on images and return results to you
- Manage your subscription and verify feature access
- Improve the App based on aggregated, anonymized usage patterns
- Respond to support requests you initiate
We do not use your data for advertising, do not sell your data to third parties, and do not share your personal information with marketers.
4. Your Photos and the AI Try-On Feature
We take the handling of photos seriously. When you upload a photo for the virtual try-on feature:
- Your photo is transmitted securely to our AI processing service solely to generate the try-on result.
- We do not use your photos to train AI models without your explicit, separate opt-in consent.
- Your photos are not shared with any third party except the AI inference service strictly necessary to process your request, and only under confidentiality obligations.
- You can delete your uploaded photos at any time from within the App's settings.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure servers. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel who need it to operate and support the service.
No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, but we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it for a longer period.
Uploaded photos that you delete from the App are removed from our servers within 7 days.
7. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services, each subject to their own privacy policies:
- Apple Sign-In: Authentication provider. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
- Apple App Store: Subscription payments and distribution. Subject to Apple's terms.
- AI inference provider: Used only to process virtual try-on requests. Images are not retained by the provider after processing.
We do not embed third-party tracking SDKs, advertising networks, or analytics services that collect personally identifiable information.
8. Imported Product Links
When you import a product link, our servers fetch publicly available product metadata (title, price, images) from the retailer's website on your behalf. We do not interact with retailer accounts, log in on your behalf, or track your browsing outside of the App. We are not affiliated with any retailer whose products you save.
9. Children's Privacy
Spree is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete that information promptly. If you believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and all associated data. You can do this directly in the App (Settings → Delete Account) or by contacting us.
- Correction: Request that inaccurate data be corrected.
- Portability: Request your data in a portable format.
- Objection: Object to certain processing of your data.

11. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, contact us using the information in Section 13 below.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you through the App or via email (if you have provided one). Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
